How to: Determine what function a button on the Office Shortcut Bar performs.
Solution:
Rest pointer on button without clicking and wait for the Tool Tip.
1) Rest (DO NOT CLICK) the pointer over the button in question. (A ToolTip appears with a short description of the button function.)
2) If the ToolTip does not appear, do the following:
a) Right-click on any blank area of the Shortcut Bar.
b) Select 'Customize...' from the Shortcut menu.
c) Select the 'Show Tooltips box' in the 'Options' border.
d) Click 'OK'.
e) Repeat step 1) to view the ToolTips.
